Nicole has been a nurse for almost 10 years - she completed her RPN in 2014 and went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing immediately after in Ontario. She has practiced in various settings including geriatric care, dermatology, and community palliative nursing. Since working in dermatology she has been intrigued by the aesthetic world of nursing and has decided to finally take the plunge. She took the neuromodulators and fillers advanced course with the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics in December 2023. Her passion for growth led her to advance as a Registered Nurse in 2014. In 2021, Shea embraced the world of medical aesthetics, combining her extensive nursing expertise with her mission to help clients feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.

Melanie graduated from nursing school in 2002 and over the past 20 years, she has experienced many aspects of nursing. She spent the first half of her career working in the NICU, labor and delivery, postpartum and public health office. She also achieved certification as an IBCLC Lactation Consultant, built her own private practice and served the Cochrane area for 6 years. The second half of Melanie’s career has been spent in the emergency department and our local Urgent Care Centre.

Melanie has always had a passion for people and creativity and at the onset of the pandemic she opened the door to aesthetic nursing. She trained with Dr. Dargie and The Botox Course and The Filler Course in 2021. Since then she has taken additional training with leading injectors across the country. Melanie has been able to blend her aesthetic eye with her expertise in the human body and her clinical nursing skill.
